Treehouse 8th Anniversary "SECRET PASSWORD SALE"!

Wednesday, April 1 will commemorate the 8th Anniversary of Treehouse Records. To celebrate, we are having a week-long SECRET PASSWORD sale! From now until closing time on Sunday, April 5, we will give you 15% off new items and 20% off used items when you speak the words "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" As always, you MUST volunteer the password to get the discount. (Collectibles, sale items, and concert tickets are not eligible for discount.)

In addition to the sale this week, we have a couple of exciting events to tell you about.

First, on Thursday, April 9 we will be presenting an improv breakfast in-store performance from C. Spencer Yeh, Paul Metzger, and Michael Yonkers. It will begin when we open at 11 AM. We will be serving complimentary coffee and pastries. C. Spencer Yeh is the driving force behind the Cincinnati-based Burning Star Core, while Metzger and Yonkers are local legends who need no introduction to many of our customers. This will be a one-of-a-kind performance. If your day job isn't tying you down, we would love to see you!

Second, on Friday, April 17 we will be officially celebrating our 8th Anniversary at The King and I Thai. We will have a very special DJ for the night - our favorite customer Tom Daffer! Tom is a South Minneapolis icon, and an enthusiastic staple of the local record and thrift store communities. This will be his professional DJ debut. It will be truly special. The Treehouse staff will be fully represented, and we would love to celebrate with as many of our customers as possible. The King and I will be taking reservations for the bar for this evening, and we would recommend making them. We have not yet hammered out all the details, but we will have something special in store (besides Mr. Daffer) for all our guests.
