Used Record Pick of the Day: SIR DOUGLAS QUINTET "Border Wave"

I think we might start posting a daily used record pick for you. Today it's "Border Wave" by the Sir Douglas Quintet. Doug Sahm reunited his legendary band for this 1981 album on Takoma. It features great covers of tunes by the Kinks, the 13th Floor Elevators, and Butch Hancock alongside seven wonderful old and new Sahm originals ("Old Habits, Die Hard," "It Was Fun While It Lasted," "Down on the Border," etc.) Great record from beginning to end. This one's in nice shape and is an absolute steal at only $9. Somebody please come buy it!
