Treehouse survives fire scare!

Good morning! As many of you may have already heard, there was a fire next door to us on Sunday night. It broke out just before midnight in the basement of the Lyndale Grocery & Deli.

One of our employees was across the street at the CC Club when emergency vehicles started arriving, and alerted me to the situation. I drove over and arrived around 12:30 AM. If there were flames, they seemed to be gone by the time I got here, though smoke was billowing out of the Deli, and all their windows had been shattered. The entire 26th & Lyndale intersection was roped off and I joined a couple of our employees and the tenants of the apartment above Treehouse as we patiently watched the action from across the street.

Around 1:45 AM, with the fire out, a police officer allowed me to enter the store. I am happy to report that with the exception of our back door, which was kicked in by the fire department, we have no damage. Our building was apparently not touched by flames or water, and we ARE OPEN for business as usual. It was quite a scare, but thankfully nobody was hurt. We're okay and invite you to come down and pick up some of these great punk records that we just put on the shelves!

Thanks for your continued support, and thanks again for making our 10th Anniversary Weekend such a great time!
